3 Easy Drinks to Make You Healthier

I don't know about you, but nothing makes me feel healthier than downing a glass of something I know is good for me. Whether its a fresh juice, wheatgrass shot, lemon water, or tea I love the instant healthy feeling I get from hydrating myself with something that packs some added health benefits. Here are 3 super easy/simple/basic drinks you can add to your day to add an extra punch to your day.




Lemon Cayenne Water
Reminiscent of the Master Cleanse, this drink will shock your metabolism into overdrive! I usually drink it in the morning, but it works well as an afternoon metabolism pick me up too.

  • 16oz Water
  • Juice from 1-2 lemon wedges
  • Tiny pinch of Cayenne (you do NOT want to go overboard)

Benefits: 
Lemon juice and cayenne pepper are both anti-fungal, immune boosting, and detoxifying.
Lemon juice- aids digestion, destroys bacteria and supports the liver and kidneys to get rid of toxins.

Chia Water
  • 2 teaspoons of chia seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon of light agave nectar
  • 1-2 fresh lemon wedges
  • 16 ounces of water
  • Shake all of the ingredients together, wait about 10-15 minutes and enjoy!

This tea is a delicious addition to your diet. If you have decaffeinated green tea you can drink it before bed.
