Easy & Delicious: Cheddar & Green Apple Paninis

Do you enjoy cheese plates? I LOVE a good cheese plate. You know some of my other favorite things are grilled cheese, tomato soup, and super easy and delicious dinners (I get hangry and impatient quite quickly). Well, these cheddar and green apple paninis are like all of those things in ONE sandwich!

You will need:
Sandwich press/George Forman grill
Hearty multigrain bread (I used Rudi's Gluten Free Multigrain)
1 Granny Smith apple
Cheddar cheese
Spicy Brown Mustard (or mustard of your choice)
Olive Oil spray (optional)

Step 1:
Preheat your sandwich press. Thinly slice the apple and cheese. Spread mustard on the bread.
(Are you noticing how easy these directions are?)

Step 2:
Assemble the sandwich with apple slices in the middle and cheese on either side of the apple slices. Spray outside bread with olive oil if you'd like (to help keep it from sticking). Put on the grill and press down. Cook for about 2-5 minutes until cheese is melty. For best taste results cut sandwich diagonally*

* This is my professional opinion

Step 3:
Grab your favorite tomato soup (any soup works but let's be honest, tomato is the best)

Enjoy!

Also, as a side note, can we examine the sparkling Christmas tree gif that Google decided to fancify all on it's own after I posted it yesterday. What????
